- In 2021, Sinn released its most ardent model to date, that being the present U50 S (S standing for schwartz) made from black coated stainless steel and showcasing a beautiful mother of pearl dial.
- Limited to 500 pieces, the watch is cased in a sporty 41mm case and is water resistant to 500 meters. Featuring a unidirectional rotating bezel, both bezel and dial have been fitted with Super-LumiNova material.
- The material that Sinn has used for the U50S, labelled as German Submarine steel on their website, is in fact a steel that has undergone Sinn’s “tegimentation” process, effectively hardening the surface of the metal, making it both stronger and considerably more scratch resistant.
- Upon special request from the original owner, the present timepiece is accompanied by a matching German Submariner stainless steel bracelet and a variety of additional straps.
