Reference 6263 in stainless steel fitted with the famous Oyster Paul Newman dial is generally divided into two types; off-white dial with black subsidiary dials and outer black ring, tenderly nicknamed “Panda” due to its looks (and Oyster printed on the second line) and black dial with white subsidiary dials and white outer ring, known as “Oyster Sotto” (“Oyster underneath” in Italian) since the Oyster designation is on the third line.This very attractive “Panda” is a most original and superbly preserved example, still retaining the correct Mk1 pushers and bezel.
