- Rolex's Day-Date stands as one of the most prestigious and recognized watches of all time. First introduced in 1960, the ref. 1800 series showcased an array of dial variations that have captivated collectors for decades.

- This particular ref. 1807 is a rare example distinguished by its textured "bark" bezel and “wide boy” dial. The intricate woven texture provides visual intrigue, complementing the slightly oxidized yellow gold case. Instantly legible thanks to its wide, gold hour markers and hands, the silver dial is very well-preserved.

Founded in 1905 England by Hans Wilsdorf and Alfred Davis as Wilsdorf & Davis, it soon became known as the Rolex Watch Company in 1915, moving its headquarters to Geneva in 1919. Launched in 1963, these chronographs are without any doubt amongst the most iconic and coveted of all collectible wristwatches.
