• When the oil-filled Type 3 was introduced in 2013, the intrepid developers at Ressence realized that they inadvertently solved a major issue for diver’s watches – refraction. They set out to engineer a wristwatch that would be optimally used underwater and legible in any light situation.
• The Type 5 is certified to meet the ISO 6425 standard for diving, water resistant to 100 meters, and features a unidirectional bezel.
• The oil-filled dial display also allows the movement to function more efficiently, due to the oil acting as a lubricant to reduce friction during use.
• In nearly unworn condition, it is consigned by the original owner with all of its original accessories, the first appearance of a Type 5 B, for “Black”, at auction.
