The present model, the Kanister Palladium, represents a unique timepiece created by the manufacturer specifically for the Only Watch 2021 charity auction and achieved CHF 32,000, marking Reservoir’s inaugural participation in the biennial charity initiative. The Kanister draws particular inspiration from the speedometer and RPM counter of the iconic 1950s Porsche 356 Speedster, evoking the era’s spirit of automotive freedom and mechanical precision. Cased uniquely in palladium, the 41.5 mm watch gives the case a hefty presence on the wrist. The black dial incorporates green luminous hour markers and a retrograde minute scale, with the Only Watch 2021 color codes—red, orange, and yellow—meticulously accented with a red section at the 45–50 minute position.

At the heart of the watch lies the self-winding RSV-240 calibre, equipped with Reservoir’s patented proprietary module comprising 124 components. This module delivers three distinctive complications: a jumping hour reminiscent of a mileage counter, a 240° single-hand retrograde minute display (echoing an tachymeter gauge), and a power-reserve indicator styled as a fuel gauge. The movement offers a 37-hour power reserve. Assembly and final verification were performed by the renowned Telos watchmakers in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, underscoring the piece’s high standards of Swiss craftsmanship.
