Catalogue Essay
First introduced to the public in 1995, the reference 5035 was the world’s first self-winding annual calendar wristwatch produced by any manufacturer. Housed in a 36mm case is the robust cal. 315, featuring an annual calendar function. With applied luminous roman numerals, the dial is distinctive and well balanced. Patek Philippe introduced the reference 5036 fitted with a bracelet instead of the traditional crocodile strap with an additional power reserve indicator on the dial, which is located on the 12 O’clock position with now the signature positioned on 6 O’clock.

The present example still double service sealed is in white gold and features an attractive black dial. Complete with all of its accessories, this is a fantastic opportunity for calendar watch enthusiast to acquire a beautiful example of the ground-breaking reference.
