  • Catalogue Essay

This reference was used by the brand for other additional limited editions including celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Taiwanese firm Wu Shang Trading Company Limited in 1994. It is believed there were 20 examples in yellow gold, 20 examples in white gold, 20 examples in pink gold. Like the present wristwatch in pink gold with ivory white dial and ruby-set markers. All with a sapphire crystal display back with inscription “25th Year Anniversary Wu Shang Patek Philippe”.

In excellent overall condition, and while the diameter is 32mm, the watch has a strong appeal and classic feel. Fresh to the market this is only third known example of the ruby-set example to appear at auction.
