- Debuting in 2006, the Reference 5960 marked a milestone for Patek Philippe as the manufacture's first automatic annual calendar flyback chronograph featuring an in-house calibre. Initially offered exclusively in platinum with a smoky gray dial, it was later produced in pink gold and white gold. In 2014, Patek Philippe introduced the dynamic iteration seen in the present lot: a stainless steel execution paired with the brand's iconic "beads of rice" bracelet.

- Celebrated for its distinct and modern aesthetic, the ref. 5960 features an unusual dial layout rare among Patek Philippe's traditional offerings.
