Catalogue Essay
Asymmetrical in dial design combined with an unusual office-styled case, the reference 5015 was introduced by Patek Philippe in 1994 and was produced for 5 years until 1999.
The reference 5015 is the only Patek Philippe from the time to feature an "age of the moon" indicator which displays the exact time of the full moon. This watch also features an officers style case back which houses the beautiful cal. 240.
Elegantly decorated with a small beaded bezel, the present ref. 5015 in yellow gold has been in this private collection for 30 years. Preserved in an amazing “new-old-stock” condition notable by its blue factory zappon on the caseback, the watch has also gained an attractive warm yellow patina evenly throughout.
