Catalogue Essay
- In 1997 Patek Philippe introduced a new model to its collection, the Aquanaut reference 5060A measuring 35.6mm in diameter. The 5060A had a sapphire crystal, solid case back and a screw-down crown which has a water resistance of 120m. Ten years later in 2007, Patek Philippe introduced the reference 5167 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the very first sport’s model the housed produced.

- Featuring an upgraded dial with defined patterns that subtly contrast against the case, the reference 5167R measures 40mm in diameter and features a newly incorporated deployant clasp. In 2009 the firm released this reference in pink gold with an attractive brown dial.

- The present example Patek Philippe Aquanaut ref. 5167R-001 from circa 2014 is offered in excellent overall condition and accompanied by its Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin stamped Roben Engstrom dated April X, 2014, product literature, leather wallet, fitted presentation box and outer box.
