Catalogue Essay
- The reference 5960 was first introduced by Patek Philippe in 2006, marking a significant milestone for the brand as it featured the manufacturer’s first in-house self-winding annual calendar chronograph movement. Initially launched in platinum with a grey dial, Patek Philippe has since released various iterations of this reference over the years.

- Introduced at Baselworld 2017, the ref. 5960/01G-001 was the rarest iteration and became the last remaining version after the stainless steel model was discontinued in 2018. In early 2021, Patek announced the retirement of the white gold version as well, cementing this reference as the final piece in a pioneering line of watches. It was succeeded by the current ref. 5905, which features a larger diameter, yet it is the 5960 that has truly captured the hearts of collectors.

- Encased in an 18K white gold case, this iteration showcases a beautifully paired navy blue matte dial, characterized by a grainy textured surface that harmoniously fuses with a white outer minute track. The vibrant red chronograph hand adds a striking contrast, enhancing the watch's sporty elegance.

- Presented in excellent overall condition and accompanied by its certificate and presentation box, this example is undoubtedly a delightful and practical timepiece for the discerning collector.
