In 2005, Patek Philippe entered into the Chinese market opening their first boutique in the historic bund area in Shanghai. Following its successful demand and entry into the Chinese market, Patek Philippe opened their second boutique in Beijing, the same year as the 2008 Olympic Games held in the respective city. To commemorate the firm’s 10th Anniversary in China, the ref. 6000g-013 was launched as an unnumbered limited edition of 25 pieces.
Incredibly rare, the present example features a special embossed case back proudly commemorating the anniversary with a map of China highlighting Beijing and Shanghai. From the collection of an important Asian collector, the present example is the first to be offered at auction.
