GOOD TO KNOW
• Pristine, unworn condition from property of the original owner
• Complete set
• 24 gems on dial, 1 0.46 carat briolette orange sapphire to crown, 48 gems on bezel

Not to be outdone by many of its Swiss counterparts, in 2022 Omega decided to release their own gem-set chronographs by adorning their Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch with a baguette gem-set bezel and baguette gem-set indexes. One of the most adored iterations was the rainbow iteration, featuring color 47 graduated trapeze-cut sapphires and 1 ruby on the bezel and 22 baguette sapphires and 2 rubies to the dial, as well as a 0.46 carat briolette orange sapphire set to the crown.

The watch features Omega's proprietary "Moonshine" gold, a softer-hued alloy inspired by the glow of the full moon. It is achieved by mixing gold, silver, copper, and palladium to not only achieve this lighter color, but improves the metal’s resistance over time.

Never published in the brand’s catalogue, and only available to select Omega VIPs at a limited number of boutiques, the baguette-set Omega Speedmaster Professionals were quietly released in 2022 and have remained elusive ever since. The present example was delivered in 2025, and remains in unworn condition with all its original accessories.

Omega

Swiss | 1848

Omega's rich history begins with its founder, Louis Brandt, who established the firm in 1848 in La Chaux de Fonds. In 1903, the company changed its name to Omega, becoming the only watch brand in history to have been named after one its own movements. A full-fledged manufacturer of highly accurate, affordable and reliable watches, its sterling reputation enabled them to be chosen as the first watch company to time the Olympic Games beginning in 1932. Its continued focus on precision and reliability ultimately led their Speedmaster chronograph wristwatch to be chosen by NASA in 1965 — the first watch worn on the moon.

Key models sought-after by collectors include their first, oversized water-resistant chronograph — the reference 2077, early Speedmaster models such as the CK 2915 and 2998, military-issued versions of the Seamaster and oversized chronometer models such as those fitted with their prestigious caliber 30T2Rg.
