    When the Design Museum opened in the 1980s, Japan was a big part of the design landscape. Issey Miyake, and Sony (both the subjects of Design Museum exhibitions), Shiro Kuramata, Rei Kawakubo and others demonstrated the country’s cultural range. Nendo demonstrates, that Japan is still full of creative energy.
