GOOD TO KNOW
• Semi-open partially skeletonized dial
• Baselworld 2018 novelty
-Introduced at Baselworld in 2018, the ATUM Pure H offers a contemporary interpretation of Moritz Grossmann’s traditional Glashütte watchmaking. The “H” stands for “Hands”, referring to its striking open-worked dial insert composed from a collage of the manufacture’s distinctive hand shapes, revealing glimpses of the movement beneath.
- Particularly noteworthy is Grossmann’s ingenious hand-setting system: pulling the crown stops the movement and allows the time to be set, while the separate pusher at 4 o’clock restarts the movement, preventing accidental displacement of the hands when returning the crown to its winding position.
-The present ref. MG-001808 is distinguished by vibrant green HyCeram-filled hands and hour markers, contrasting against the rhodiumed open-worked dial and polished 41 mm stainless steel case. The result lends the classically proportioned ATUM a distinctly modern and sporting character.
