Full-Cataloguing
The Legacy Machine is the epitome of the philosophy of MB&F. Not only is the watch a technical marvel that changes the way one looks and thinks about timepieces, but in traditional fashion of the firm, the movement was created by “friends” Jean-François Mojon and Kari Voutilainen.
The Legacy Machine is a dual-time wristwatch that changes the overall aesthetic of traditional horology most prominently with the oversized balance wheel front and center on the dial and a three dimensional power indicator that rises from the dial at the 6 o’clock position, which Busser himself said was based on the sextant. The single mainspring powers the two independent dials, each having its own setting crown with only the right side crown for winding the watch. The watch was produced in 18k pink gold and white gold, as well as a limited edition of 33 pieces in platinum and a special 13 pieces in titanium for the M.A.D Gallery in Dubai, as well as a series of 18 timepieces in stainless steel.
The present example is in like new condition and complete with box and paper. It is a towering monument to both the artistic genius of MB&F, as well as those great inventors of the late 19th century.
MB&F will offer a complimentary service for the successful buyer of this watch within six months after purchase, including shipping fee of the watch to the MB&F.
