Marc Newson’s prototype car for Ford 021C was shown at the Design Museum in 2000. A year later he was invited by the museum to select acquisitions for the Conran Collection, including a Soviet cosmonaut’s suit. In 2004 the Design Museum’s solo exhibition on his work included Qantas’ business class seats, as well as the Kelvin40, his design for a jet aircraft.
