Catalogue Essay
- Adored for its sturdiness, reliability and affordability, the Lemania 5100 is a legendary movement launched in the 1974. It has been adopted by Omega, Heuer, Porche Design and Sinn, amongst many other brands, in their distinguished chronograph wristwatches.

- The movement is an epitome of mechanical elegance and functionality. It is characterized by the revolutionary use of Delrin, a rigid thermoplastic that is shock-resistant, which is used on the day and date wheels, cam and chronograph clutch wheel, rendering it robust yet easy to repair and cost-effective.

- The automatic matte black dial of the watch is paired with a sloped outer minute track, and three sunken subsidiary dials showing seconds, 12-hour counter and 24 hours indication. The present watch also features two windows at the 3 o’clock displaying the day in French and the date respectively. The orange chronographic seconds and minutes hands are a perfect match for the white luminous hands and baton numerals, alleviating the classic sporty look of the watch.

- Preserved in excellent condition, this rare example is a true gem for the discerning collector seeking for the combination of exceptional performance and horological heritage in a superb sports watch.
