    - The Revolution & The Rake Laurent Ferrier Classic Origin features a 40mm stainless steel case showcasing a stunning champagne dial with a sunburst finish in the centre and opaline finish behind the chemin de fer. The large applied Breguet numerals used for the 12-, 3- and 9-hour markers are solid white gold appliqués that have been ruthenium treated. The signature Assegai-shaped hour and minute hands are also in white gold and have also been ruthenium treated to match the rest of the dial.

    - Giving life to this timepiece is the visually striking manual winding calibre LF116.01. Featuring a micro sandblasted finish contrasted by hand beveled angles the movement features a free-sprung balance wheel and Laurent Ferrier’s long-blade ratchet system.

    - Number 6 of a limited edition of 12 pieces, confirmed by its certificate, the present Laurent Ferrier Classic Origin is further accompanied by its full set of accessories.

  • Artist Biography

    Laurent Ferrier

    Swiss • 2008

Introducing its first watch to critical acclaim in 2010, Laurent Ferrier was founded by long-time Swiss watchmaker of the same name. Following a 37-year career at Patek Philippe, Ferrier founded the brand in 2008, creating timeless wristwatches inspired by the finest wrist and pocket watches from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Revered by collectors around the world for their genuine innovations and understated elegance, the brand specializes in exquisitely hand-finished movements featuring state-of-the-art watchmaking technology. Galet, or "pebble" in French, describes the signature feature of the brand's cases used across its collection — with soft curves, domed crystals and rounded edges reminding one of a smooth pebble.

Key models include the Galet Classic Tourbillon Double Spiral and the Galet Micro-Rotor, with stunning movement architectures designed after prestigious observatory chronometer movements of the twentieth century.
