Catalogue Essay
Following previous collaborations with François-Paul Journe, Antoine Preziuso and Vianney Halter, Phillips is proud to present one of these remarkable creations: Opus 4, developed in partnership with the legendary Christophe Claret.
The Opus 4 features an impressive movement housed in a reversible case, derived from the Premier collection. This hefty platinum case showcases exceptional complications, including a tourbillon and a cathedral gong minute repeater, for which Christophe Claret is renowned.
This double-dialed wristwatch displays the tourbillon and minute repeater with cathedral gongs on one side, while the reverse reveals a more artistic design featuring delicately engraved moon phases and a date display. The mobile lugs are fixed to a swivel mechanism, allowing either face to be showcased depending on the wearer’s mood or the time of day. Numbered 3, this configuration is limited to just 18 pieces, with two additional unique versions set with baguette or princess-cut diamonds.
A highly creative and complex timepiece, the Opus 4 promises immense pleasure for its wearer.
