Catalogue Essay
The H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Tourbillon Wyoming Jade is a limited edition timepiece that blends refined watchmaking with natural artistry. Released in early 2024, it features a dial crafted from untreated Wyoming jade, prized for its deep olive tone and visual purity. Each dial is unique, showcasing natural inclusions and subtle variations in colour. The minimalist design includes three rose gold hour markers and hands with luminous inserts, allowing the jade’s beauty to take centre stage. Housed in a 40mm 18K pink gold case, the watch is finished with satin brushing and polished accents.
At its heart is the automatic HMC 804 calibre, featuring a flying tourbillon with Moser’s signature double hairspring and finely decorated bridges. The movement offers a 72-hour power reserve and 120 metres of water resistance, balancing elegance with performance. The jade dial is meticulously cut, stabilised, and hand-polished to preserve its natural structure and translucency. With no logo on the dial, the tourbillon at six o’clock becomes the focal point. Limited to 100 pieces, this like-new example is a rare and compelling alternative to mainstream luxury tourbillons, combining technical innovation, artisanal craftsmanship, and the timeless allure of natural stone.
