Double Balancier Convexe

An ergonomic and impressive limited edition titanium wristwatch with small seconds, inclined double balance wheel, four-minute spherical constant differential, power reserve indication, certificate and presentation box, one of a limited edition of 66 pieces

The Double Balancier complication, released in 2016, represents an evolution of the brand’s original twin balance wristwatch, enhancing technical complexity and pushing the boundaries of haute horology.

The performance of the balance wheel and spring is significantly influenced by their positional orientation. Even when the watch is worn or resting flat on a surface, an inclined 30° angle serves as a constant averaging factor. With the two balance wheels set at different angles, at least one will consistently perform closer to the ideal.

The incredible differential device positioned between the balance wheels is where magic happens. Consists of three wheels stacked vertically, the top and bottom wheels are connected to each of the two escapements, while the middle wheel interfaces with the gear train. This differential effectively averages the errors generated by the two balance wheels, with the spherical constant differential rotating every four minutes.

Offered in hardly worn condition from the original owner, this timepiece comes as a full set, accompanied by an additional titanium bracelet and rubber strap, allowing for a versatile aesthetic. Limited to just 66 pieces over a three-year production span, it is exceptionally well-crafted, showcasing the genius behind its creation.

In the span of 12 years, the firm has become highly sought-after by collectors for their innovative timekeeping and industrial design.
