  • Catalogue Essay

The following twelve lots are part of a larger collection of works by Gabriella Crespi that was assembled by a European countess in the 1970s. Active on the international social scene from Europe to South America, the latter was renowned for her beauty and glamour. Her sense of style extended to her interiors, as evidenced by her whimsical selection of Crespi’s designs. The second part of the countess's collection will be offered September 2015 at Phillips in London.

The present lot has been authenticated by the Archivio Gabriella Crespi and is recorded under archive number 060171092G.
