Good to Know:
- Featuring a rare white and blue mother-of-pearl dial with Clous de Paris guilloché centre
- Encased in platinum, this boutique edition is reserved for F.P. Journe boutique clients
The F.P. Journe Chronomètre Souverain Nacre represents one of the most elegant and distinctive versions of François-Paul Journe’s celebrated chronometer wristwatch. Reserved exclusively for the manufacture’s boutiques and offered only to a select group of clients, the present model combines Journe’s pursuit of precision with an exceptionally refined aesthetic.
Housed in a 40mm platinum case, the watch is distinguished by its white and blue mother-of-pearl dial, featuring a Clous de Paris guilloché centre surrounded by a luminous blue mother-of-pearl outer ring. The combination of traditional guilloché work and the natural variation of the nacre creates a subtle yet striking appearance.
At the heart of the watch is F.P. Journe’s calibre 1304, a manually wound chronometer movement crafted in 18K rose gold. Featuring twin parallel mainspring barrels and a free-sprung balance, the movement reflects Journe’s fascination with marine chronometry and his focus on precision. Measuring only 4mm thick, the calibre allows the Chronomètre Souverain to retain its elegant proportions and exceptional comfort on the wrist.
Produced in limited numbers and available exclusively through F.P. Journe boutiques, the Chronomètre Souverain Nacre remains one of the rarest and most desirable interpretations of the model. The present example is accompanied by its leather travel pouch.

F.P. Journe
Swiss | 1999Founded by watchmaker François-Paul Journe in 1999, the F.P. Journe brand is relatively young, but already is as highly regarded by collectors as many distinguished manufacturers with centuries-old heritage. In the minds of the world's savviest collectors, Journe is producing some of the finest wristwatches the market has ever seen. Mastering his craft from restoring historical timepieces, he was the first to create a wristwatch incorporating two escapements that benefit from the phenomenon of resonance — the Chronomètre à Résonance.
Key models include the Résonance, tourbillon wristwatches incorporating a remontoir and the limited edition Vagabondage series. Especially sought-after are his earliest "souscription" watches, made in 1999.
