Horological maestro Denis Flageollet teamed up with collector extraordinaire David Zanetta in 2002 to create the independent watchmaking tour-de-force that is De Bethune. Over the last quarter century, the collection has evolved from time-only and monopusher chronographs strongly influenced by Breguet, to fully in-house calibers with Delta-shaped bridges and three-dimensional spherical moon phase displays. As De Bethune matured, they interpreted at space age technology and the avant-garde in the context of watchmaking with new materials like titanium and zirconium and more futuristic designs.

The DB28 collection was first introduced in 2012 and embodies the De Bethune aesthetic, featuring models with floating lugs, titanium cases, and architectural movements. The DB28 Aérolite is the ultimate combination of cosmic material, lightweight structure, and signature avant-garde design. Released in 2024, this model features a stunning Muonionalusta meteorite dial perfectly highlighted by the grey matte anthracite zirconium case. Dating to over 4.5 billion years ago, the meteorite is composed of 91% iron and 8.4% nickel, which when polished and etched with nitric acid forms a unique and energized dial. Housed in a 38.7mm diameter case, the watch fits well on the wrist, with the floating lugs adding comfort.

Now discontinued, this Aérolite is offered for the first time publicly by the original owner and is complete with its accessories.
