Founded in 2002, De Bethune has been manufacturing innovative and exceptional timepieces ever since. Formed by David Zanetta, a collector of vintage timepieces, art and history and Denis Flageolet a master watchmaker from the fourth generation family of watchmakers, the pair set out to make a statement in the independents scene. Since the launch of the firm, De Bethune has impressively developed over 30 in-house calibers with numerous patents and new innovations.
With a genius approach to contemporary haute horlogerie, master watchmaker Denis Flageolet always believed that innovation is the tradition of watchmaking. With that said, it is perhaps why the young firm has decided to develop movements from scratch instead of modifying a caliber. With an innovative approach, De Bethune has created some of the most exquisitely finished movements with new approaches to movement architecture and finishing.
The present DB25 in pink gold numbered 1 of 1 was a special request from a loyal client of the brand. Whilst on the dial side the appearance seems very much regular featuring a beautiful hand-guilloché silvered center dial with painted navy blue Roman numerals paired along with their signature blued stainless steel hollowed hands matching its hollowed lugs. However, flipping the timepiece to its caseback, the wearer may admire the specially requested mirror-polished platinum movement cover, blued stainless steel balance bridge securing the beating organ of the timepiece.
Presented in excellent “like new” overall condition, the present DB25svM piece unique example is offered with all its accessories inclusive of its original warranty and presentation box.
