Catalogue Essay
- Crafted as a special commemorative piece for the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic Games, this watch also celebrates the 100th anniversary of the inaugural Olympiad held in Athens in 1896. In recognition of this remarkable milestone, Blancpain introduced a limited edition chronograph that honors the spirit of the Games.

- Limited to just 100 pieces, the dial of this exquisite timepiece prominently displays the Atlanta 1996 logo, creatively replacing the traditional Blancpain logo. The brand name has been elegantly repositioned to the small seconds register, located just above the date window, adding a unique touch to its design.

- Beyond its striking dial, the caseback features an engraving of the Olympic logo along with the limited edition number, further emphasizing its exclusivity. This particular piece, numbered 53, is meticulously preserved in excellent condition, making it not only a significant collectible for Olympic enthusiasts but also a timeless classic in Blancpain's storied history.

Blancpain

Swiss | 1735
As the watchmaking brand with the earliest founding date, Blancpain remains close to tradition, concentrating on classical mechanical watches. Established in 1735 by Jehan-Jacques Blancpain, the Le Brassus manufacturer today continues to innovate with the development of high-quality calibres and is proud of their heritage, having never made quartz watches. One of the firm's greatest successes was the Fifty Fathom wristwatch introduced in 1953 — the vintage models of which are now highly coveted by collectors. The earliest dive watch available to the market, Fifty Fathom came out a year prior to Rolex's Submariner.  Another key model is the Air Command from the 1960s, considered one of the most mythical collector's watches due to their extreme rarity. Today, the firm specializes in creative innovated complicated timepieces.
