  • Catalogue Essay

    - Audemars Piguet introduced their iconic Royal Oak timepiece in 1972, with its design credited to the renowned Gerald Genta. The initial model, known as the "Jumbo" reference 5402, boasted a 39mm case size. Over the years, the Royal Oak collection has expanded to include various case materials and sizes, showcasing the brand's ongoing evolution.

    - In the present reference 15000ST, not only does it feature a smaller and more refined 33mm case, but it also included a seconds hand compared to the original 5402. Moreover, the dial, reminiscent of porcelain, exhibits a pristine aesthetic that stands out in Audemars Piguet's lineup of time-only watches. This dial design has also served as inspiration for many other dials found in the brand's current production line.

    - Combining sportiness with elegance, this watch comes complete with its accessories. It presents a rare opportunity for Royal Oak enthusiasts to add a sleek example to their collection.
