Royal Oak Offshore
An imposing and impressive highly complicated stainless steel perpetual calendar chronograph wristwatch with moonphases
Full-Cataloguing
- The Offshore was instrumental in defining the trend towards larger luxury sports watches, challenging conventional proportions and paving the way for the oversized watch aesthetic that would dominate the decades that followed.
- While faithfully retaining the defining design codes of the original Royal Oak, including the octagonal bezel, exposed hexagonal screws and integrated bracelet, the Offshore established an entirely new visual language through its increased diameter of 42mm, distinctive rubber pushers, greater depth and more assertive architecture.
- The present model, number 008, adds a perpetual calendar and moonphase indications to the chronograph, creating a new visual language by integrating one of haute horlogerie’s most prestigious complications to the bold and contemporary architecture of the Royal Oak Offshore.
