- Stepping away from the iconic Royal Oak archtype from the brand, Audemars Piguet created a collection based on historical tank design from the mid 1920s. The Quantieme Perpetual ref. 25682 is a perfect example from the Edward Piguet collection. The aesthetics of the collection is distinguished by an Art deco touch with elegantly curved case shape that flows naturally on the wrist.

- The present lot, a rare "Edward Piguet Quantieme Perpetual" wristwatch epitomizes the technical mastery and understated beauty that make Audemars Piguet perpetual calendars so covetable. Sunken sub-dials with circular grain and decorated with refine Breguet numerals, time is presented with an elegant pair of blackened leaf hands.

- Powered by the manual wind calibre 2003, the movement is based on a Jaeger-LeCoultre ébauche first developed in 1946 with an added 2805 QP module.

- Accompanied with its full set of accessories and confirmed by the Audemars Piguet Extract from the Archives, the present timepiece from 1992 represents a scarce find for the discerning collector who appreciates the enduring value of an artfully-made perpetual calendar from the illustrious house of Audemars Piguet.
