- The Audemars Piguet Metropolis reference 25962OR is a remarkable haute horlogerie timepiece, combining the convenience of a perpetual calendar displaying day, date, month, and leap year, automatically accounting for varying month lengths and leap years as long as the watch is running. And together with a world time function that enables simultaneous reading of time across 24 time zones.

- Launched in 2001 at the SIHH, the Metropolis belongs to the Jules Audemars collection introduced in 1999, known for its elegant round cases and sophisticated complications. It was initially offered in platinum, with pink gold and white gold versions following.

- Cased in pink gold and measuring at 39mm in diameter, this rare example is the Metropolis Jules Audemars anniversary edition notable from the inscription on the caseback. With only a small number of examples produced, it features an eye-catching "globe effect" dial for added dynamism, applied Arabic numerals that follows the globe pattern, and a perpetual calendar plus world time indications that make it visually engaging and highly legible. Powered by the automatic ultra-thin cal. 2120 also found in the Royal Oak Jumbo 5402, the skeletonized rotor is designed with and intricate engraved AP logo that elevates its appeal. Preserved with crisp hallmarks on the side of all lugs, this is a wonderful example for jetsetters that enjoys the mechanics of haute horlogerie.
