-Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak wristwatch was created in 1972 during the depths of the quartz crisis as a luxurious automatic stainless steel timepiece becoming the brand’s most successful model. In 1993, AP introduced the Offshore model as an updated, robust sporty chronograph with a prominent rubber gasket sandwiched between the case and bezel.
-Released in 2021, the reference 26420RO is an updated version of the larger 44mm diameter reference 26410RO first released in 2013. Audemars Piguet made a significant technical change replacing the historic caliber 3126/3840 with their new, in-house caliber 4401, a fully integrated flyback chronograph with column wheel and vertical clutch. Featuring a re-designed 43mm diameter case, the reference uses a redesigned Méga Tapisserie dial with a stronger architectural presence.
