-Trying to find a place next to a watch as iconic as the Royal Oak is no easy feat. But in 2019, Audemars Piguet took on the challenge and launched the CODE 11.59 collection as the new generation in their catalogue for a younger, more contemporary clientele.
-Elegant yet sporty, the arched profile from the double-curved crystal streamlines the new case architecture. The arched profile plays with depth, perspective and light for a unique optic experience. While its internal surface is shaped like a dome, it is vertically curved from 6 to 12 o’clock.
-Crafted in the warmth of pink gold in a 41mm case, this Code 11.59 Chronograph features a sophisticated black lacquered dial, offering a perfect mirror finish. This is a striking contrast to the 18K pink gold applied hour-markers and hands, while at the same time in a form of sophisticated minimalism, displaying the singular numeral at 12 o’clock. The dial is further complemented by an inconspicuous date aperture that sits between 4 and 5 o'clock with matching color date wheel.
-Powered by the calibre 4401, a column-wheel activated vertical clutch flyback chronograph that provides 72 hours of power reserve, it exudes a sporty elegance on the wrist. Consigned by the original owner, it is preserved in virtually unworn condition complete with all its original accessories.
