- Heritage re-issues spotlight storied pasts, but few rework legacy designs as adeptly as the Audemars Piguet [RE]Master01. Unveiled in 2020, this 500-piece limited edition stunned with its reinterpretation of the vintage ref. 1533 chronograph.
- Rendered in modern livery, it pays tribute to a ref. 1533 sold by Phillips in 2018, which inspired AP's Heritage Department. While the delicate dial layout distinctly echoes the original - red 45-minute counter, elongated Art Deco numerals, period font - the case and movement are contemporary.
- The 40mm case wears larger than its forebear but retains tear drop lugs and two-tone steel/gold. A sapphire caseback unveils the in-house automatic caliber 4409 vs. the vintage manual-wound cal. 13VZAH.
- Bridging the past and present with respect and ingenuity, this spectacular [RE]Master01 offers collectors a gateway to AP's rich history. Offered in barely worn condition complete with accessories, it celebrates the enduring allure of vintage aesthetics reawakened.

Audemars Piguet
Swiss | 1881A specialist in the manufacture of complications since it was established in 1881, Audemars Piguet never ceases to impress with a rich history of creating bold, even audacious, timepieces underpinned by traditional watchmaking at its finest. This Le Brassus-based Swiss manufacturer is one of only two major manufacturers still owned by the founding family. Since its earliest days, AP is considered a leader in the field of minute repeaters and grande complication pocket and wristwatches. The brand is devoted to preserving the history of watchmaking in the Vallée de Joux, showcased at their superb museum in Le Brassus.
Today, the brand is best known for its Royal Oak models, a revolutionary luxury sports watch launched in 1972. Other key models include early minute repeating wristwatches, vintage chronograph wristwatches, such as the oversized reference 5020, perpetual calendar watches and the Royal Oak Offshore, first introduced in 1993.
