- In 2015, the Royal Oak Offshore Diver underwent a redesign with the release of reference 15710ST. This updated model incorporated a sapphire crystal display back, allowing a view of the automatic calibre 3120 movement.
- Designed as a diver's watch, the timepiece features an internal rotating chapter ring surrounding the dial. This ring is used to measure elapsed time during underwater explorations and can be easily adjusted using the second crown at 10 o'clock.
- In the summer of 2017, Audemars Piguet combined the Royal Oak Offshore Diver with the vibrant colors of the Diver Chronograph, resulting in the creation of the Royal Oak Offshore Diver Funky Colors Collection. This collection featured five different colored dials: White, Yellow, Blue, Orange, and Green.
