- Svend Andersen is the "watchmaker of the impossible", a pioneer in spirit, Andersen had the courage to set out on his own in 1980 in the midst of the quartz crisis with an aim to create unique bespoke timepieces. In 1985 in co-founded the AHCI.
- In 2020 he launched what is now one of his signature pieces: the Jump Hour whereby the hours are indicated via an aperture at 12 o'clock and the minutes via a hand at 6 o'clock.
- The large empty space on the dial is a superb canvas for the graphic guilloché motif applied to a pink gold base providing a magnificent combination with the platinum case.
- The present watch dubbed the "Rising Sun" was made in a limited edition of 50 pieces, of which this example is number 4, for the Japanese market.
- In absolutely superb condition and accompanied with its full set of accessories, the present "Rising Sun" is under warranty until April 2027.
