Catalogue Essay
'The Black and White is a break from the norm and a completely versatile watch. The case is micro shot blasted, giving the watch a super matte finish. Traditionally speaking, one would think a white watch can only be worn in the summertime but that is not true. Due to the black case, the watch can easily be worn with a suit. Professionals such as doctors, dentists, anyone in the medical industry went crazy for this watch. The first of a limited edition of 25 pieces, to have half white and half black is really another story.'

Hublot

Swiss | 1980

Hublot was founded by Carlo Crocco in 1980 and named after the French word for "porthole," which resembles their iconic bezel design. Hublot's first watch followed three years of research and was the first wristwatch to be fitted with a natural rubber strap. The brand's most recognizable watch today is the 'Big Bang', which was first launched in 2005 upon the arrival of CEO and shareholder Jean-Claude Biver. Other noteworthy models are the 'Classic Fusion' and 'King Power'.
