A message for the new year from our Asia Chairman as we celebrate 10 years of Phillips Asia. Plus — a look back at highlights from the past decade.

Phillips Asia Chairman Jonathan Crockett  auctioneering in Hong Kong.

Happy New Year! May the Year of the Snake bring you happiness, good health and prosperity in all your endeavours.

This year marks a significant milestone for Phillips — our 10 year anniversary in Asia. As we celebrate our accomplishments in the region, I want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support over the past decade.

Despite our relatively short tenure here, Phillips has made significant breakthroughs in this time. It all began with our inaugural auction in December 2015, when a small but determined team presented ‘The Hong Kong Watch Auction: ONE’ at The Four Seasons Hotel, in association with Bacs & Russo. Fast forward a decade, and Phillips Asia has expanded across nine cities, offering art, design, and luxury items throughout the year. Our investment in Asia culminated with the unveiling of our impressive headquarters in the West Kowloon Cultural District in 2023 — making Phillips the first auction house with a permanent saleroom and dedicated exhibition galleries in the region.

Over the past decade, we have committed to tremendous growth, transformation, and market leadership in Asia. Reflecting on our journey — from the modest confines of our first Hong Kong office to the exceptional quality of our auctions and exhibitions today — I can say with certainty that our success has only been possible through the trust, collaboration, and enthusiasm from valued clients and partners like you.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to presenting clients with an array of exquisite offerings that best reflect today’s tastes and demands. We will continue to evolve, enhancing our capabilities to ensure a premium level of service and care for our clients. Based on an abundant volume of requests to participate in our anniversary year, I have included information below outlining our Spring 2025 sales and exhibitions and the related opportunities for buying and selling over the coming months. Our team is accepting consignments and is always available to discuss the full range of services we can offer you. We look forward to celebrating a decade of remarkable growth and success in Asia and are excited for the opportunities ahead.

Thank you once again for being an essential part of the Phillips journey. Our team looks forward to many more years of shared success and growth.

Warmest regards,

Jonathan Crockett
Chairman, Phillips Asia
