The Jewels Department
The development of the Jewels department is part of Phillips’ ongoing expansion, adding a complementary category to the company’s fast-growing areas of focus in the 20th and 21st centuries. In 2018, the company relaunched Jewels in New York under the direction of Susan Abeles, Head of Jewelry for the Americas and Senior International Specialist.
Our auctions encompass all eras—from antique and estate including Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco to contemporary jewels—catering to a broad range of tastes. Our offerings range from exceptional diamonds and rare colored gems to sought-after signed pieces from some of the most important houses including Boucheron, Buccellati, Bulgari, Cartier, Harry Winston, Sterlé, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels and David Webb, alongside unique artist-designed jewelry.
Phillips holds Jewels auctions twice a year in Hong Kong and in New York for an international clientele of collectors and connoisseurs.
