    - The Zenith Chronomaster Original Pink is a special edition released in October 2022 made to raise awareness for breast cancer. It was available exclusively from Zenith’s boutiques during October, the month of annual international Breast Cancer Awareness, to garner support for the world’s leading nonprofit breast cancer organization Susan G. Komen.

    - Based on the classic El Primero A386 launched in 1969, the present reference houses the famous high-frequency El Primero calibre 3600, and operates at a frequency of 26,000vph with a power reserve of 60 hours. It boasts the 1/10th of a second indication chronograph display, and it is an immense joy to see the central chronograph hand sweep across the electrifying metallic pink dial in one swift and smooth motion. Furthermore, it features the stop-second mechanism which allows time to be set to the nearest second.

    - The 38mm case is very similar to the classic A386, a unisex design with simple pump pushers and bezel-less construction. It also features the iconic date aperture at 4:30 in pink, the original outer tachymetre scale has been replaced by the 1/10th of a second scale.

    - Offered in “like-new” condition, and complete with its full set of accessories, the present timepiece is without a doubt a special one for the discerning collectors.

  • Artist Biography

    Swiss • 1865

Since Zenith's beginnings, founder George Favre-Jacot sought to manufacture precision timepieces, realizing quality control was best maintained when production was housed under one roof. Zenith remains one of the few Swiss manufacturers to produce their own in-house movements to this day.

Today, the brand is best known for the "El Primero," the firm's most successful automatic chronograph movement. In an interesting twist of fate, the company that owned Zenith during the 1970s decided to move on to quartz movements and therefore sought to destroy the parts and tools necessary to make mechanical movements. One watchmaker realized this folly and hid the tools and parts before they were destroyed. In 1984, he returned them to Zenith so they could once again make the El Primero movement.
