This unique suit is being auctioned in support of Art Fund’s 2020 fundraising campaign to save Prospect Cottage, the home and garden of Derek Jarman. Designed by Academy Award winning costume designer Sandy Powell, this is the toile for the suits she wore to the 2019 and 2017 Oscars and BAFTAs. Powell, who had her first job working with Jarman in 1986, collected the autographs in a widely publicised tour of 2020 awards ceremonies including the Oscars and BAFTAs, where she was nominated for her work on Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, and the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards, where she received the Dilys Powell Award for Excellence in Film.

Please join us to protect Derek Jarman’s legacy, and inspire creativity in generations to come. For more information about the campaign, visit
