In 2003 Patek Philippe celebrated its retailer Wempe’s 125th anniversary. For the occasion 125 pieces of the reference 5125 were manufactured in yellow, pink and white gold. There were only 100 pieces made in platinum.
The present watch is number 44 of the platinum version and is preserved in excellent overall condition, still retaining all the accessories.
