Presented in exceptional condition and fitted with a wonderfully rich ivory colour enamel dial with no imperfections, the rarity of the present watch is further enhanced by the prestigious retailers signature, Serpico y Laino in Caracas, Venezuela applied to the dial and stamped to the case back. In addition to this double stamp of approval the watch is fitted with the correct PP crown and heavy gold Gay Frères bracelet. The extract confirms the presence of a gold bracelet however we believe that since the watch first appeared at auction some years ago, the bracelet has been upgraded to the present heavy Gay Frères example. Reference 2526, introduced in 1953, was Patek Philippe's first model featuring a self-winding movement, the calibre 12-600 AT.
