Catalogue Essay
With a combination of traditional Swiss watchmaking heritage and modern geometrical aesthetics, it is also the first ever time in the history of both Louis Erard and Alain Silberstein to collaborate with an external party to create a timepiece. Designed by Silberstein, the regulator style wristwatch executed by Louis Erard can only be described as a gratifying piece of mechanical art.
With already an acclaimed status in the world of independent watchmaking, Alain Silberstein’s creation often reflect the Bauhaus principle of form follows function depicted with inspirations from vibrantly colored geometrical shapes witnessed in the works of Kandinksy with colors reflecting the signature style of De Stijl. Released as a limited edition of 178 each, the collection comprises of an edition in stainless steel with a white dial and a black PVD-coated stainless steel with a black dial.
Presented in “like new” overall condition, both timepieces from circa 2020 bought on the same day are accompanied by the full set of accessories.
