  • On September 22, 1985, the Pont Neuf Wrapped was realised in Paris where over 40,000 square meters of woven polyamide fabric, silky in appearance and golden sandstone in colour covered the sides of vaults of the arches, all the street lamps on both sides of the bridge and to the vertical part of the embankment of the Île de la Cité. Wrapping the Pont Neuf symbolised a metamorphoses- the transformation of a bridge into a work of art during 14 days.
