Executed by cabinetmaker Bryngel Lindbäck for Carlsson, Tomtebogatan, Stockholm. From the production of 12.
The present model is in the permanent collections of The National Museum and The Nordic Museum in Stockholm. Two chairs from the production of twelve were included in the ‘Swedish Exhibition of Industrial Art’, Dorland House, London, 17 March–22 April 1931. The suite formed a total of twelve dining chairs, dining table, centre table (lot 92), and a sideboard. Phillips wishes to thank Thomas Ekström for his assistance with the cataloguing of this lot.
