Catalogue Essay
Børge Mogensen, born in 1914, apprenticed as a cabinetmaker and continued his studies at the Copenhagen School of Arts and Crafts and the Academy of Arts in Copenhagen, founded by architect and Professor Kaare Klint, where he graduated in 1941. After his studies at the Royal Academy and several collaborations with Kaare Klint, Mogensen became one of the best known contributors to modern Danish design.
