Initially released in 1997, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph was a new line of timepieces under the umbrella of the Royal Oak family. A commercial success, the firm released the ref. 26331 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the model line. Introduced at the SIHH 2017, Audemars Piguet introduced a limited-edition example in titanium and platinum as well as four examples in 18K pink gold and three examples in stainless steel.
The present example Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph ref. 26331ST.OO.1220ST.03 from circa 2017 features a highly desirable “panda” dial with the firm’s signature white tappiserie dial with black registers.
