- The A. Lange & Söhne 1815 model was named after the birth year of the firm when it was first founded. Introduced in 1994, the 1815 signifies the importance of craftsmanship and traditional approach to execution. With meticulous time spent for its movement production, the simplicity of the dial contrasted against the proudly displayed three-quarter bridged movement, collectors are immediately drawn to the romanticized idea of subtle complexion.
- The 1815 ref. 206.032 embodies this lineage, pairing neoclassical aesthetics with modern watchmaking in a refined 35.5mm pink gold case. Within lies the manually-wound cal. L941.1, on full display through the sapphire crystal back. The movement's German silver components are hand-engraved with Lange's signature floral motifs.
- On the argenté-coloured solid silver dial, pink gold hands and a blued steel small-seconds hand keep time with stoic precision. From the stepped bezel to the tapered lugs, the 1815 architecture harkens to pocket watches of old. This fusion of classic A. Lange & Söhne codes tailored into a contemporary wristwatch creates an ensemble that is at once elegant and handsome.
- On the wrist or on display, the 1815 ref. 206.032 is an emblem of fine German watchmaking. With a sophisticated blend of neoclassical design, meticulous craftsmanship and technical mastery, the present example preserved in excellent condition brings history into the present.

A. Lange & Söhne
German | 1845Originally founded in 1845 by Ferdinand Adolph Lange in Glashütte, Dresden, Germany, the firm established an entire watchmaking culture and industry in Glashütte. The brand quickly became Germany's finest watchmaker, first creating dependable, easy-to-repair watches before going on to produce some of the world's finest complicated pocket watches, including Grande Sonnerie watches, tourbillon watches and Grande Complications.
On the final day of World War II, their factories were destroyed by Russian bombers, and in 1948 the brand was confiscated by the Soviet Union. Following the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1990, Ferdinand's great grandson Walter Lange re-established the brand with the objective to once again produce top-quality luxury watches. Now part of the Richemont Group, its original vintage and modern creations are highly coveted by collectors. Key models from the modern era include the Lange 1, Pour Le Mérite Tourbillon and the Zeitwerk.
