Phillips is proud to announce an online-only auction in partnership with the nonprofit NOISE FOR NOW, which will raise funds and awareness for reproductive rights in the US. Open for bidding from 15-23 February, the eponymous sale will feature works personally donated by contemporary artists such as Lesley Vance, Erin Shirreff, Mariah Robertson, David Mramor, and Sheree Hovsepian. Proceeds will benefit two important 501(c)(3) charitable organizations — The National Network of Abortion Funds, which helps move financial and logistical barriers to abortion access, and The Abortion Care Network, which aims to create a network for independent providers across the country.
The sale will start to close at 12:00 EST. Each subsequent lot will close [one minute] after the preceding lot. If a bid is placed in the final three minutes of bidding time on a lot, there will be a bidding extension of 3 minutes, so that there will always a be 3-minute period between the last bid placed and the closing time of that lot. These extensions will continue indefinitely until there is no more bidding activity on the lot for a period of 3 minutes. The extension of one lot's closing time does not affect the closing times of other lots in the Online Only sale, so it is possible that lots will close out of numerical order.
